This series is rooted in printmaking and explores how prints, as artist multiples, can transform a single image into something that represents, commemorates, or celebrates my larger works.
Each photo here explores how much an image -- whether as a trace, a multiple, a remark, or a document -- can hold enough meaning to stand in for temporary, large-scale, immersive artworks.
Installation and performance are my primary mediums, but their ephemerality poses a fundamental challenge -- unlike traditional works such as paintings, they cannot be truly experienced except in person, in the moment, which severely limits how they circulate as art. By translating these live works into prints and artists' multiples such as postcards, framed images, etc., I see this as a way to preserve, extend, and re-present them beyond their original context. I invite you to encounter these works anew, and to form your own relationship with these spaces time intervals that no longer exist. I also welcome you to follow my ongoing practice in installation, performance, and print.
